Use the Power of Your Vote

Everyone’s demanding for change. We all got tired of false promises. One of the important contributions we can do to our nation is to properly use our rights to vote after skillfully knowing our candidates. ”One vote will make a difference”. That has been said time and again. This time really make a difference by using the power of your vote.

First, you have to be aware of your rights as a voter. You have every right to demand for confidentiality of your vote and at the same time should be responsible enough to protect other voters’ privacy. Even in cases when your name is not on the poll record of the center where you belong, know that you can still exercise your right on a provisional ballot. Physically challenged voters have the right to seek for assistance and are definitely permitted inside poll centers.

Know your responsibilities, too. If you find someone in your poll area whose residency is questionable, you have every right to query on that, and the right to be given appropriate information and accurate answer. It is your responsibility to challenge that, and to relay to the authorities any election laws that you deem as violated.

Make sure your precious vote is considered because you were responsible enough to present the essential identification at the voting center.  To ensure that you are putting in the right data on the ballot, know the complete name of your candidate. Otherwise, you are just wasting your time and effort.
